Professional Bio
Dr. Betty Valencia has dedicated the last 19 years at American Auto Financing-Inc. (AAF-INC) and has developed and implemented processes and programs for efficiency and professional results. As an expert in training and development, Dr. Betty has transformed the ongoing operations into the most up-to-date and tech-friendly methods for ease of use by the entire organization. As a compliance manager, Betty ensures compliance across areas and maintains professional and up-to-date processes across the organization. As VP of Operations, Betty ensures compliance across clients and vendors, new business partnerships, and out-of-state business prospects. Additionally, Betty dedicates many hours to education in community settings in her spare time.
Betty Valencia is a proponent of education equity and has a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership Studies. She serves as the President of the Santiago Canyon College Foundation Board of Directors and president for the newly formed Hub for Integration, Re-entry & Employment for formerly justice-impacted individuals. In 2019 Dr. Valencia was named Women of the Year and one of the TOP 100 Influencers in Orange County by the OC Register. Betty is a motivational speaker on civic engagement, health justice, education equity, immigration reform, environmental justice, transformational leadership, LGBTQIA+ equity, training and development, human resources, compliance, and a published author.
